Magnetic Design of Common Coil Dipoles for VLHC at Fermilab

Results of design studies of common coil dipoles for VLHC, including conductor requirements as function of design field, aperture and layout, as well as field quality issues in the straight section and end regions will be discussed. Updated magnetic parameters of the first short model of a 11 T common coil dipole being developed at Fermilab will also be presented.
